Ethics Bowl

#CTethicsbowl

The High School Ethics Bowl was introduced to Connecticut in 2017-18 and hosted first by the University of Connecticut in the 2018-19 academic year. It is a day-long event for student teams who are interesting in debating the most challenging ethical issues of our time. Teams consist of 3-7 students who are judged by experts on the breadth and depth of their thinking. This regional competition is a qualifier for participating in the National High School Ethics Bowl at UNC- Chapel Hill. The Connecticut High School Ethics Bowl is sponsored by the UConn Department of Philosophy and the Office of Early College Experience on odd numbered years and is hosted by Yale University on even numbered years.
