Summer Institutes

UConn ECE hosts a number of multiday professional development opportunities that we call "Summer Institutes." Our Summer Institutes are opportunities for UConn ECE Instructors to come on campus and engage deeply in the materials and discussion of their department. These events occur shortly after the academic year and are usually reading, writing, and laboratory intensive seminars that are designed to energize and reconnect UConn ECE Instructors with their discipline in a professional setting. Summer Institutes have a small registration fee but provide many academic resources, networking opportunities, and a fun environment to learn. The English Department offers an annual Summer Institute, but we have also offered Summer Institutes in many STEM disciplines, Spanish, and American Studies.  For more information, contact ece@uconn.edu.
