We are glad to announce that UConn ECE Chinese program will host an in-person Chinese Talent Show event at UConn Storrs campus at Oak Hall 101, from 10:15 am - 1:30 pm on Friday, March 24th, 2023. You and your UConn ECE Chinese class are cordially invited to join this exciting event. We believe that this is a great opportunity for your students to socialize with peers from other CT high schools and UConn undergraduate students, while showcasing their Chinese language talent.
The talent show can take any of the following forms:
- Comedy skits
- Song and dance
- Poem reading
- Traditional Chinese musical instrument performance
- Magic
- Martial art/kung-fu
If your class/school is celebrating the Lunar New Year, your students are welcome to do the same performance in this event.
In addition, we will prepare cultural knowledge quiz games (with small prizes) throughout the event.
