Course Expectations

UConn Early College Experience courses are UConn courses taught on a high school campus by high school instructors who have been certified by the University of Connecticut. Students follow the same curriculum and grading rubric that has been designed by the University department.

Courses may be more demanding then a student might be accustomed to, but this level of difficulty will provide many academic benefits in the future. UConn ECE students can transition from high school to college knowing that they can successfully take college courses, feel comfortable with a college syllabus and be prepared for the next phase in their educational journey.
