UConn Early College Experience

Fees

Electronic Billing (E-Billing) Directions

UConn Early College Experience courses are offered at a greatly reduced cost compared to the identical course offered on a UConn campus. UConn ECE courses are $25 per credit (three-credit course = $75; four-credit course = $100). The same four-credit course offered through Continuing Studies at the University of Connecticut is approximately $1200. UConn ECE strives to provide substantial long-term savings for students and parents.

Students who participate in the Government Subsidized Free/ Reduced Lunch Program are eligible for a UConn ECE program fee waiver.

An electronic bill (e-bill) will be sent to each student's UConn email address upon successful course registration. The e-bill sent over the summer will include courses taken in the fall semester or for a full year. An e-bill for spring courses, courses andded during the add/drop period and any unpaid fall courses will be sent to your UConn email address during the first week in November. Students who choose not to pay their invoices electronically will receive a paper invoice for fall and full year courses in mid-August. Unpaid invoices and returned checks are subject to additional fees.

A $25 processing fee is added for students who participate in the add/drop period. Students may add or drop a course from September 1–15, 2011. Students dropping a course during this period will receive a course refund, minus the $25 processing fee. An Add/Drop Form must returned to the high school by September 15, 2011 in order to be eligible for a course refund. Students who drop courses after this date are responsible for all fees associated with the course.
