UConn Early College Experience

Fees

Online Payment Instructions

UConn Early College Experience courses are offered at a greatly reduced cost compared to the identical course offered on a UConn campus. UConn ECE courses are $25 per credit (three-credit course = $75; four-credit course = $100). The same four-credit course offered through Continuing Studies at the University of Connecticut is approximately $1200. UConn ECE strives to provide substantial long-term savings for students and parents.

Students who participate in the Government Subsidized Free/ Reduced Lunch Program are eligible for a UConn ECE program fee waiver.

Invoices for fall semester courses and full-year courses are mailed to each student's home address at the end of August. Invoices for spring semester courses are mailed at the beginning of November. Payment is due by the date indicated on the invoice and can be made by mail or by paying online through the University's student administration system. Payment directions are included with the invoice. Unpaid invoices and returned checks are subject to additional fees.

A $25 processing fee is added for students who participate in the add/drop period. Students may add or drop a course from September 1–15, 2009. Students dropping a course during this period will receive a course refund, minus the $25 processing fee. An Add/Drop Form must returned to the high school by September 15, 2009 in order to be eligible for a course refund. Students who drop courses after this date are responsible for all fees associated with the course.
