Certification Process

To assure accreditation compliance requirements, continuous collegial interaction between high school instructors and University faculty is promoted and supported. University departments furnish various forms of support such as course outlines or syllabi, assignments, examinations, lists of experiments, etc., as appropriate to each discipline. Additionally, UConn ECE instructors are required to attend professional development opportunities sponsored by UConn ECE in order to maintain certification. Workshops provide instructors with the chance to meet with University faculty to exchange ideas and instructional techniques. Many University resources and benefits are available to UConn ECE instructors and students.
